These manual indent crimp tools are all MIL-QUALIFIED, however they have different specification sheets under SAE AS22520. M22520/1-01 (AF8) accommodates wire sizes 12 throught 26 AWG, M22520/2-01 (AFM8) accommodates wire sizes 20 throught 32 AWG, and M22520/7-01 (MH860) accommodates wire sizes 16 throught 28 AWG.

MCD does not provide a "standard" timeframe for repair and calibration of tooling. Repair and calibration is unique to each user and should be based upon frequency of use, proper care of tool, internal requirements, or adherence to a QMS. DMC suggests verification of tooling on a frequent basis to ensure the tools are performing as the OEM intended.

Over time tools will become worn or may be in need of adjustment. Gaging is a good way to verify the tool will meet the OEM's performance expectation, however, routine calibration is always a good idea. Calibration schedules can be based on several variables: number of cycles, length of time since last calibration, damage or improper care of tools, etc. A calibration schedule should be determined by the end user to ensure quality and tool life.

Frequently asked questions about our Online-Shop
You can pay by prepayment, credit card, PayPal and invoice (domestic only). To do this, you must enter the payment details on our website. If you pay us in advance, you will receive a confirmation email where you will find the bank details. If you pay by credit card or PayPal, you will receive a confirmation email once the payment is successfully completed. If you pay by domestic invoice, you will receive the invoice with the order and must pay it within 14 days.
The delivery times of your tools depend on whether your items are in stock. In-stock items are usually delivered within 2-3 days - in some cases faster. If you source your tools from a warehouse in the UK or USA, the delivery time is usually 1-2 weeks. For all other items, delivery time may vary and depends on item availability. Please contact us if you have any questions about specific items and delivery times.
You can easily track current orders on our website. Just use your account in the upper right corner of the website. Click on "My Orders" to see the current status of your order. There you will find a list of all orders with details about each order, such as order number, shipping address and status.
